I have to say it – we’re so bloomin’ lucky. We started looking for grants last year to help make this project and our aims a reality, and the universe responded with wonderful abundance!
Our latest wins, come from the People’s Postcode Lottery, who are helping us cover not just core costs (like insurance, web costs, seeds, marketing etc), but to pay us for growing some of the veg we send to food banks! This means we can keep donating veg to people in need and we can pay for all the necessities in running and expanding our CSA, which allows us to feed more people and fulfill our social and environmental aims:
Our project has received a £2000 grant from the People’s Postcode Lottery Grassroots Grant programme. The People’s Postcode Lottery is so generous. Find out more about the People’s Postcode Lottery here: www.postcodelottery.co.uk

Thank you!
And our luck doesn’t end there – Redruth Town Council recently awarded us some money to pay for some groundworks so we can park some more cars on site, which will help us to expand our volunteer days for Grassroots Garden and Incredible Edible, and to have more people coming to workshops.
They have been incredibly supportive, and even paid for some extra storage shelves for the winter veg, and some materials towards the packing shed, which have been vital as we pack more veg for our members. Thank you councillors!
