How the three prices work
We want fresh, locally grown veg to be within reach of people on tighter budgets, and we want Grassroots Garden to keep growing. So every veg bag size comes in three prices. Everyone gets exactly the same bag.
- Subsidised: 25% less than standard, for when money is tight.
- Standard: the base price.
- Solidarity: 25% more than standard, for households that can comfortably afford a little extra. It helps cover the subsidised bags.
| Size | Subsidised | Standard | Solidarity |
|---|---|---|---|
| Small | £3.75 | £5 | £6.25 |
| Medium | £7.50 | £10 | £12.50 |
| Large | £11.25 | £15 | £18.75 |
Which should I choose?
Choose the price that fits your household budget. If you can comfortably pay a little more, the solidarity price keeps the subsidised bags going for someone else.
Delivery is £2 for local addresses and £5 for rural addresses, or free if you collect from the garden.
